These natural fibres are luxuriously light, soft and warm. The Alpaca Wool will keep you nice and warm when cold and yet still breathy and comfortable on any day.
The Alpaca wool itself is soft, durable and luxurious. While similar to sheep wool, Alpaca wool is warmer, softer, not prickly and has no lanolin, which makes it hypoallergenic. It is also naturally water-resistant.
The Alpaca animal is indigenous to Ecuador and has sustainably provided fabric for thousands of years. The animal lives and climbs many mountainous regions of Ecuador and other South American countries.

Common FAQ's
Meraki pieces are made to be lived in — not replaced. Crafted with premium alpaca fiber, they offer lasting softness, warmth, and comfort that holds up season after season. What you’re investing in isn’t just a product, but something you’ll reach for daily for years.
Sourced from the Andes, alpaca is incredibly soft, naturally hypoallergenic, and warmer than traditional wool without the weight. It’s a rare fiber, shorn just once a year — which is part of what makes it feel so different the moment you put it on.
We use a 60% alpaca, 40% recycled acrylic blend to balance luxury with real life. You get the softness and warmth of alpaca, with added durability, a more accessible price point, and the ease of machine washing — so your pieces stay beautiful, effortlessly.
