Fundraiser Alert! - Meraki Movement

Fundraiser Alert!

I think we did it, mis amigos! I think we found a way to make our eco-friendly, luxury alpaca wool products even better! (I, Alonzo, am jumping for joy right now!!!)

Suppose you follow Meraki Movement on Instagram or Facebook. In that case, you might have seen us posting about our ongoing collaboration with BGC Foothills Clubs….IF…of course, you’re following us - how can you not want to see all of the AMAZING things we have going on….

Just in case you missed it (or want to find out more) I, Alonzo - your luxuriously fuzzy friend - am here to give you the rundown.

Meraki Movement is doing a fundraiser with BGC Foothills Clubs. This incredible charitable organization has been creating opportunities for kids and teens in southern Alberta for over 25 years (that's older than me)!!! They provide high-quality programs for our youth in physical recreation, technology, the arts, personal growth, and more.

The Meraki team is absolutely thrilled about collaborating with BGC Foothills Clubs!

So How Does The Fundraiser Work?

I knew you would ask - you are a kind, generous and giving person - I know you’re eager to help and support this amazing adventure!

MERAKI MOVEMENT WILL DONATE $15 FROM EVERY SINGLE ITEM PURCHASED ON OUR WEBSITE BETWEEN SEPTEMBER 15TH AND OCTOBER 31ST ON ALL ORDERS THAT USE THE 10% OFF PROMO CODE: FHBGC.

IT REALLY IS THAT SIMPLE!

AND WHEN YOU USE THE PROMO CODE FHBGC, YOU’LL ALSO GET 10% OFF YOUR PURCHASE. TALK ABOUT A WIN-WIN SITUATION!

As part of this collaboration, myself and the lovely people at Meraki Movement also set BGC Foothills Clubs up with a mini fundraiser toolkit. It has everything from social media post and email copy to graphics!

Not to brag, but I’m kind of a pro here. You could say my dipllama came in pretty handy - we were able to create some awesome emails and social media posts. You might want to take a look at what we put together. Check out their socials to see some of the magic in action!

IF YOU WANT TO SUPPORT THIS COZY COLLABORATION, ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS:

  1. Visit the Meraki Movement website and choose from our selection of sustainable scarves, blankets, beanies and more. (I can’t believe I’m saying this, but you might even find something cuter than I am, and alpacas are famously cute so that’s really saying something!)

  2. Add your chosen items to your cart and get 10% off of your order using the promo code: FHBGC. (What a steal!)

  3. Have your purchase shipped to you, or save on shipping by opting for a local pick-up in High River.

With Christmas just weeks away (13 weeks to be precise, but who’s counting? Haha, definitely not me hahaha), it really is the perfect time to start your holiday shopping. And it just so happens that we’ve brought in lots of exciting new stock so that the timing couldn’t be better!

Our gorgeous alpaca products are all ethically sourced, marketed and distributed on behalf of Quechua artisan families in my native land (in Peru and Ecuador, to be exact). The Meraki Movement team LOVE that we get to not only work with a family of generational master weavers but also showcase their incredible talent through our fair trade alpaca products.

Wanna know what the best part is, in this humble Alpaca’s opinion? Whatever super stylish product captures your heart, when you buy alpaca products from Meraki Movement, you’re supporting small family-run businesses in both North and South America. On top of that, through this fundraiser with BGC Foothills Clubs, you’re also supporting an organization doing great things for the Alberta community.

SO WHAT DO YOU SAY, AMIGOS? READY TO GET INVOLVED WITH THIS FUNDRAISER? THEN HEAD OVER TO OUR ONLINE STORE AND START SHOPPING!

And if you can’t purchase while the fundraiser is running, no problemo! You can still get involved by sharing info about the fundraiser online (here are the links to our Instagram and Facebook again, check out our posts about this fundraiser!)

As always, thanks for your support! Until next time…
